Kay El Life

Since I have decided to blog, I guess it should be more oftenly done as to update people and also to satisfy my cousin bro, Steve's request because he wanted more crap from me =D hehe. This time, I would like to share my KL life experience.

Back when I was in Ipoh, staying with my parents (as I have since I was born) I was having an easy, comfortable and a tranquil life. It's all hustle free. I've got food provided on the table the minute I wake up. I dont have to worry of being late to school because my Dad always have my back. He will wake me up, buy me breakfast and send my lazy ass all the way to school. After school, again there will be Daddy to pick me up and as soon as I reach home there's already lunch on the table. I don't have to walk or cycle to tuition because my Dad cares so much for me, he drives me there =D. It goes all the way. After getting my license, I got my own transport. Unless I'm shopping at Jaya Jusco, there's hardly any walking. When my "load" is running low, there will be extra pocket money. Isn't that a sweet lil' fairy tale transformed into a real life story? Even when I'm not revising for my exam, Dad will come busting my arse!!

After completing my Form6, I went on to KL to pursue a higher education, which is a degree course in Entrepreneurship for 3 years. When I was in KL life was sort of completely turned the other way around. If I want to go to class, I have to walk. Go out for a movie? Walk my arse off to the bus station and take a damm bus and ride all the way to another station before walking again. Lots of sweat or less sweat, depends on mother nature, whether its sunny, cloudy or whatever the f* it is. Fun huh? Without any transport. Next, food. Wanna eat? Sure, walk out and buy your own. There's no free lunch in this world except when you're with your own family. Studying would be the "best" part. You have full autonomy over it. You want to skip class, sure. It's so easy, you just have to get your friend or some idiot to help you sign your name to get that pathethic attendance so that you wont be barred from the exam. Homework? You can just leave it alone and copy your friend's the next day, or just simply leave it alone. No one's gonna check your shit. Tired? Just sleep in the lecture. It might be noisy but what the heck. That's it! Simple and nice. Isn't that what everyone wanted when they are in Secondary High? No parents, no homework, no books, no teachers, just you and your laptop, be it online game or internet porn or whatever stuff you want to do. Wake up for class? Pray hard that your alarm is working, else you either end up going to class late, being nagged by your tutor with a percentage of ceased from entering the room or just let ur lazy arse continue sleeping. Overspent and your "load" is running low or empty? Try eating shit! If you have no control over your money, especially in a place full of temptation like KL, nothing can help you much.

Well the point is, after I came to KL life is much much more different. If I were the same person I am when I was in Ipoh, I will be eating shit right now. I might starve myself to death. I might flung every single exam I have. Getting zero(telur) for my assignments. Or miss most of my classes enough to get barred from taking the exam from the Uni. Go clubbing every day and waste away my ptptn loan. Shop for branded stuff and act rich, indulging into the lifestyle of KL people-reckless spending. Hahaha luckily there were lots of people here to help, guide and teach me. I would like to take this time to thanks my dear sister, Jennifer and her dear boyfriend, Chris. They taught me alot like how to go from this place to that place(locations), how to enjoy delicious food in KL+shopping, how to manage my studies and how to become a better person. Well especially with Chris helping me when I submit my application form to UTAR and helping me find my accomodation. Not to forget, my dear cousins Shirene, Oi Yoke, Bernard, Chandler and most recently Steven =D(proud of you in helping the children's holiday club and being the main actor forgeting the falling down part, kiki). My family too of course, the most important person of all, my Dad, and Mom too, Granny and other uncles and aunties. Not to forget peers, my old friends particularly MingMing, LoonLoon, Chupak, KunKun, Borok, Yamchung Steven, BigMouth Bin, Telur Yasin, Tungku Kg. Simee(no police), Yan tz2, Hong. SMI fren Chemor fatboy Ah Jin, Chemor thinboy Meng Chun pai jai, Chow Cheebye Kin, JooJoo, WK, Kam Huo, Cancan, Hamyu, Winnie de pooh, Lydia, YenYee . New friends BabyHung, Ahfuh, Mr.Lim, Lai Liuha, Eric, Jibai Kok, Darren Weeeeeeeeee, housewife Joleen Tsai local, Mon Jia, Andrew, CSS, Ling(dark), Ling(tall), Ling(Dota), sohigh Wawa, Fayfay, bikini, platinum, Wei Liang, Chun Jue, good fren Yeong, brother Kenji, Chong, badminton court boss, richman Mr.Lee, Edmond, pak fan jai Ehom, chin yee muackss, new classmate .......... and the list goes on and on and on ........ (those not in the list whom i know, pls come and kick my arse XD)

As a conclusion, at a point of time in life our thinking and perception of things will change due to internal reasons like maturity, wisdom and intelligence, and external reasons like peer influence, personal experience and education. My Ipoh life and KL life may differ but I am still the same person, maybe better maybe worse. Time will tell. One good thing I can tell you know is that I have learned to appreciate my family better, especially my Dad. I'm beginning to understand his care and sacrifice and the reasons for his deeds. Dad I love U!!!!! And I will try hard not to disappoint you. (Ps: I might sound angry/grumpy sometimes when you call, but deep inside my heart, its a convex curve on my mouth)
As said by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - "Intelligence plus character, that is the true goal of education".
