Hear me out!!! o0o

Perhaps one of the most interesting and colorful word in Cantonese today is the word "TEW"
It is one magical word which just by the sound can describe pleasure, hate and love.
"TEW" falls into many grammatical categories.

It can be used as a verb both transitive (eg. Goh tewed Irene) and intransitive (eg. Irene wastewed by Goh)

It can be a noun (eg. Goh doesn't give a tew about Irene) or an adverb (Irene is te-wing beautiful)

It should be obvious by now that there are not many words as versatile as the word "Tew"Besides its sexual connotation, this lovely word can be used to describe many situations:

*Fraud - Ngor pei yan tew chor

*Dismay - Tew nia ma hai

*Trouble - Lei chii tew lor

*Aggression - Tew kow lei

*Passive - Tew ngor

*Confusion - Tew mat chat?

*Difficulty - Tew, ng chat meng ah...

*Despair - Li bei yan tew lorr

*Philosophical - Mm lan tew hai lah..

*Religious - Omi toh fut, tew

*Incompetence - Oh, tew lo

*Displeasure - Tew, fart sang meh yeh si ah??

*Laziness - Mou lan tew ...

*Rebellion - Tew chart hoi!

*Direction - Mart chart tew tei fong ah???

*Misunderstanding - Hui dei tew chow hoi

*Denial - Ngor mou tew dou...

*Low self-esteem - Ngor mou lan tew yoong

*Suprised - Wahh!!! tew...

The mind really boggles at the many creative uses. How could anyone be offended when you say the word "TEW"?
